Insight Data Analyst (BigQuery)

 

Permanent, full-time

Working: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Location: Farringdon, London EC1R (Hybrid)

 

We are looking for an experienced Insight & Experimentation Data Analyst with expertise in BigQuery to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving innovation and growth through data-driven insights and experimentation, helping to shape our Smart Syndication product offering. You will collaborate across teams to deliver compelling insights that influence decision-making at all levels.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Smart Syndication Development: Build and enhance our Smart Syndication product with dashboards that emphasise usability and self-service.
  • Content Growth: Identify opportunities to improve our clients' content experience by leveraging their diverse customer data.
  • Actionable Insights: Transform complex data analyses into clear, actionable insights that influence decisions across the organisation.
  • Experimentation: Lead and design robust tests, driving high-quality experimentation to optimise outcomes.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple complex insight projects that are critical to the business strategy and growth.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis, with a focus on BigQuery and cloud data platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with BI/visualisation tools (e.g., SiSense).
  • Proven ability to engage with stakeholders and deliver impactful, data-driven insights.
  • Experience in designing, executing, and analysing experiments.
  • Proficient in SQL for querying and managing data.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with programming languages like Python or R.

 

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a passion for data and experimentation.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex findings into easy-to-understand insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative, cross-functional team.
